Originally from the Philippines (Luzon Island), Donalyn has been a resident of the Wenatchee Valley since 1987.

 Donalyn’s accounting career started at Wenatchee Valley College, where she earned her degrees in Accounting Technology, Computer Applications Specialist and Associate in Arts (Business). In 2001 she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from Central Washington University, graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the School of Business & Economics Dean’s Scholar award. She has been a licensed CPA since 2003 and is also a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

 Donalyn joined the McQuaig & Welk team on 9/1/07. Prior to that, she had worked as the Only Financial Officer (OFO) for a nonprofit organization in Mukilteo, Washington for 4.5 years. She was instrumental in creating contract budgets with a major airline manufacturer and implemented policies and procedures for better accountability. Before that, she worked as a Staff Accountant for a local CPA firm in Lynnwood, Washington, providing tax, audit, accounting, and payroll services. She also has over 10 years of customer service experience, gained from managing The Garden Patch, her family-operated produce stand.

Aside from her career, Donalyn is focused on her faith and family and is involved with the NCW Filipino-American group. She enjoys reading mystery novels and figuring out “whodunit” before the book reveals the answer.
